MotR only collects information required to provide its vehicle management and MotR Secure services. This includes your email address (for login and account management), basic profile details, and limited usage information used to keep the service reliable and secure.

We use your information to provide and improve MotR, to operate reminders and notifications, to secure your account, and to respond to support requests. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

When you look up a vehicle, MotR retrieves MOT, tax and related data from official UK sources such as the DVLA and DVSA. Vehicle registrations you save are stored so we can deliver reminders, history and insights tied to your account.

Payment processing is handled securely by Stripe. MotR does not receive or store your full card details. Stripe processes your payment in accordance with its own security standards and the requirements of UK consumer law.

MotR uses essential cookies to keep you signed in and to measure aggregated usage. We do not use cookies for third-party advertising profiling.

Personal data is protected in accordance with UK GDPR using encryption in transit and at rest, restricted access, and industry-standard security practices.

We retain personal data only for as long as needed to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, and resolve disputes. When you delete your account, your personal data is removed in line with our retention schedule.

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, as well as data portability, by contacting support. We respond to valid requests within the timeframes required by UK GDPR.
