Security Disclosure Policy

Version 4 Last updated 6 August 2026

How we protect your information

MotR takes the security of your information seriously. This policy explains the practices we follow and how to report security concerns responsibly.

Security practices

  • Encryption — data is encrypted in transit using TLS and at rest in our databases.
  • Access control — access to personal information is restricted to authorised personnel who need it to do their jobs.
  • Payments — card details are handled by Stripe and are never stored on our servers.
  • Account protection — we offer secure authentication and monitor for suspicious activity.
  • Vendor management — our processors are bound by contracts requiring them to protect data.

What we do not claim

We describe the practices we genuinely follow today. We do not claim certifications or accreditations we have not achieved.

Responsible disclosure

If you believe you have found a security vulnerability in MotR, MotR Secure or MotR Fleet, please report it responsibly. Do not publicly disclose it before we have had a reasonable opportunity to investigate. We will acknowledge reports promptly and work with you on resolution.

Incident response

If a data breach occurs that is likely to result in a risk to your rights, we will assess it and, where required, notify the relevant authority and affected individuals without undue delay.

Contact

Security reports can be submitted through the Support Centre. We treat all responsible reports in good faith.
