Acceptable Use Policy

Using MotR responsibly

This Acceptable Use Policy sets out the rules for using the MotR platform, including MotR Secure and MotR Fleet. It applies to all users.

You agree not to

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in a way that breaches any law.
• Attempt to access another user's account, vehicle data or location without authorisation.
• Misuse vehicle data, including using DVLA or DVSA data for purposes other than those for which it was supplied.
• Interfere with, overload or disrupt the Service, its trackers or its infrastructure.
• Reverse-engineer, scrape or resell data from the Service without our written permission.
• Use MotR Fleet to monitor drivers without a lawful basis and appropriate notice.
• Submit false or misleading information.

MotR Secure

Trackers must only be installed on vehicles you own or are authorised to protect. Using a tracker to monitor a person without a lawful basis is prohibited.

Enforcement

If you breach this policy, we may restrict or suspend your access. Serious or repeated breaches may result in termination of your account. We may also take action required by law.

Reporting problems

If you become aware of misuse or a security issue, please report it through our Support Centre. See our Security Disclosure Policy for reporting vulnerabilities responsibly.
